It is therefore slightly longer and narrower than the original battery, the battery band that surrounds the original may not be required to fit the battery into the tray and self adhesive foam packers are included to make the battery wider. 

Due to shipping regulations it is no longer possible to send original, acid filled batteries by mail order and this battery is therefore sold as a sealed equivalent.
